City of Roswell Open Records Request Forms
Under the Georgia Open Records Act, all public records are available for inspection and copying unless they are specifically exempted from disclosure under the law. Please be advised that certain records are not releasable under Open Records due to cases being Active/Pending Investigation/Pending Prosecution or incidents with juveniles involved.

General Open Records Requests
Choose this form for things such as: contracts, personnel files, building permits, certificates of occupancy, code violations (zoning, building, fire), inspection reports (building or fire), site plans/surveys/plats, non-Police Department records (Administration, Environmental/Public Works, Finance, Fire/EMS Incidents, Recreation & Parks, Transportation), and Municipal Court documents (citations and dispositions).

Police Open Records Requests
Please select the option below that best matches your request.
File a New Police Report
To report a crime or incident such as losing a wallet or phone, stolen tag, etc., please do so using the
Police2Citizen website. An officer will contact you by phone, finalize the report, and provide a report number.
Accident Reports
Vehicular accident reports are available for a fee of $5 and can be obtained through the
Police2Citizen website.
Criminal History Reports

Single Incident Police Reports
To obtain a copy of a
single incident report, contact us at
policerecords@roswellgov.com. Please include case number if available. We will respond within three business days.
Multiple/Extensive Incident Police Reports
To obtain copies of
multiple incident reports, or resources beyond a simple incident report (ex: adoption requests, video, body cam, 911 calls, etc.), please submit a
Police Open Records Request.
